Since first participating in both SAE EG-1E and AIAA TETWoG meetings almost 10 years ago, IAC has regularly attended and contributed to both groups in the relevant fields of acoustics and testbed engineering with both Fraser Alexander and Mark Newton representing IAC Aviation.
Through those years many friendships and working relationships have grown and a great deal of priceless knowledge has been both shared and learned. This is really the essence of both groups, to learn and to share while providing specialist help and guidance for those working with gas turbine engine testing.
The range of informative documents and recommended practice papers covers virtually every nut and bolt of the requirements for good test facility design and everything that goes with it from instrumentation and measurement to maintenance.
IAC is pleased to announce that as of January 2019 Fraser Alexander, IAC Director of Test & Aviation has been elected to Vice Chairman of the EG-1E committee and will serve alongside Chairman Rastko Hadzic of NRCC and Secretary James Shanahan of Navair.
