Service and Refurbishments

IAC Acoustics noise control solutions and products are well renowned globally for assured acoustic performance, build quality and long term durability.  We still have products in active use in the field that are over 50 years old!  The key to such longevity is our commitment to quality design, materials and manufacturing processes.  When this is combined with our customers commitment to safe use and operational maintenance, we can assure a lifetime of quality service for our acoustic products.

We offer preventative and planned service & maintenance packages for our range of acoustic products and noise control solutions – features include:

* Extended warranty is offered on the following basis: an annual maintenance check is completed each year within 3 months of the anniversary of installation under a maintenance contract that is taken out within 1 year of installation.  The contract should be paid for in full annually by the anniversary of the maintenance contract.  Wear & tear on electrical items is excluded.  

Service Package Options

Our core range of service package options provide quality assurance, acoustic integrity and maintenance of safety standards for a range of our solutions.  Due to the very broad range of IAC Acoustics product scope, not all packages are available for all solutions – we can of course offer customised options and would be happy to discuss your project specific scope during the original development phase, or shortly after completion.

Refurbishment

Some older facilities that have given many years of high quality acoustic performance may have become tired and worn, or contain materials that are now considered unsuitable and hazardous. IAC Acoustics can provide your facility with a much needed upgrade complying with current ISO standards and utilising state of the art robust materials and technology. All IAC products such as acoustic doors, windows and attenuators are rigorously tested as part of our continuous product development process.  New products utilise materials that permit “corporate styling” and high quality aesthetics to suit each customers’ individual requirements. 

IAC Acoustics Moduline panel system is designed to be robust and long lasting, it is inevitable that most internal finishes and mechanical/electrical fittings will eventually need replacing. We can offer a trans-formative refurbishment service to update, upgrade or simply refresh your environment.  Whether you have an audiology test room, aero engine test cell or an anechoic chamber, we regularly undertake refurbishment projects for existing IAC and non-IAC facilities UK wide. Typical scope of a refurbishment or upgrade project begins with a site survey and design detail of the proposed solution – the final scope of a project may include:

• Audiology Test Room – complete interior upgrade including new carpet, wall fabric, ceiling tiles, LED lighting and air conditioning system complete with UV-c light disinfection system
• Anechoic Chamber – existing chamber strip-out, replacement wedges, doors, ventilation, lighting and electrics followed by ISO re-calibration to ensure compliance to the latest standards
• Aero Engine Test Cell – complete facility upgrade including exhaust system replacement, safety upgrades and new ADAS data system and controls
